California’s pickleball boom is about to get a major indoor upgrade.
Pickleball Kingdom, billed as the world’s largest indoor pickleball entity, has announced a landmark agreement to develop locations across the entire state of California. The statewide expansion will be led by multi-unit franchisees Parminder and Komal Saini, who are already putting the plan into motion with their first California club in Roseville—set to open with grand opening activities the weekend of March 28.
Why California, and why now?
Pickleball Kingdom Founder and CEO Ace Rodrigues pointed to the scale of the opportunity—and the importance of having the right operators in place.
Rodrigues said California is the biggest state in the country by population, and that the brand wanted strong partners to lead development statewide. He added that Parminder and Komal Saini have already proven themselves as exceptional operators and visionary leaders, and that the company is confident they will help build world-class Pickleball Kingdom facilities throughout California.
The company says interest is already elevated across major regions including the Bay Area, Sacramento, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego County, and the Inland Empire—along with communities throughout the state.
What players can expect at Pickleball Kingdom locations
According to the announcement, each Pickleball Kingdom facility is designed to be more than “just courts.” Planned features include:
- State-of-the-art indoor courts
- Professional coaching and clinics for all skill levels
- Youth development programs
- Leagues and tournaments
- A pro shop
- Areas for socializing and relaxation
The expansion is also expected to create job opportunities and contribute to local economic growth across California.
First up: Roseville grand opening weekend (March 28)
The first California Pickleball Kingdom club is scheduled to open in Roseville, featuring:
- 11 professional-grade indoor courts
- Approximately 32,900 square feet
- Location: 10251 Fairway Drive, Roseville, CA 95678
Komal Saini said the Roseville community is full of diverse, hardworking, active individuals who value health, fitness, and social connection—and that the family has seen firsthand what Pickleball Kingdom can do for a community.
Parminder Saini added that their vision has been bigger than a few locations from day one, describing Pickleball Kingdom as an inclusive space where people can play, connect, and enjoy themselves. He said they’re excited to provide opportunities for families, friends, and neighbors across California to prioritize health, create lasting memories, and strengthen community bonds.
Pickleball Kingdom President and Chief Global Officer Rob Streett also praised the Sainis’ community-first approach, calling them more than club owners—“community builders”—and saying their vision for California is transformative.

The Sainis bring a mix of corporate and customer-operations experience to the project. Parminder Saini is a Chief Technology Officer in the insurance industry, while Komal Saini has a background in operations and customer engagement from running a tutoring center franchise. They’re also raising two children, Simone and Samir, as they build out their California pickleball footprint.
