
Star-studded rosters announced for December showdown supporting Shriners Children’s
The Tampa Bay area is about to get a serious dose of golf greatness.
From December 4-7, Feather Sound Country Club in Clearwater hosts the Skechers World Champions Cup supporting Shriners Children’s, and the rosters just announced are stacked with legends.
The Numbers Tell the Story
Combined, these players and captains bring:
- 217 tournament wins
- 43 major championships
- 89 Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup appearances
This is Ryder Cup-style competition at its finest—three teams, international pride on the line, and some serious bragging rights up for grabs.
The Captains and Their Squads
Team USA (Captain Jim Furyk): Stewart Cink, Jerry Kelly, Justin Leonard, Steve Stricker
Team International (Captain Mike Weir): Steven Alker, Ángel Cabrera, K.J. Choi, Y.E. Yang
Team Europe (Captain Darren Clarke): Thomas Bjørn, Miguel Angel Jiménez, Bernhard Langer, Colin Montgomerie
Each team has one play-in spot still to be determined based on Charles Schwab Cup standings.
