Utah company launches carbon fiber paddle line manufactured entirely in America
Pickleball players looking for American-made equipment have a new option. F+B Sports, based in Gunnison, Utah, just launched their RUNOUT paddle line—100% USA-made with materials and expertise borrowed from aerospace engineering.

Aerospace Meets the Court
Founded by entrepreneurs Jason and Roland Christensen, F+B Sports brings over 20 years of carbon fiber manufacturing experience from aerospace, prosthetics, and sporting goods. Now they’re applying that same materials science to pickleball paddles.
“We are experts in carbon fiber composites, and the application of our team’s decades-deep experience in material science could be applied to paddle design,” said Stephen Mijangos, Pickleball Product Lead. “We believe in American ingenuity and innovation and wanted to create something that was designed, developed, tested and mass produced in Utah.”
Three Paddles, Three Playing Styles
The RUNOUT line offers three USA Pickleball-approved options:
RUNOUT-S (Standard): Quick and maneuverable for consistent shot placement and control.
RUNOUT-E (Elongated): Maximum reach and explosive power for aggressive play.
RUNOUT-H (Hybrid): Balanced control and power for versatile gameplay.
The FUSIONFIBER® Difference
The paddles feature patented FUSIONFIBER® technology—forged carbon fiber similar to what you’d find in luxury supercars. This shows up in two key areas:
- Edge Guard: FUSIONFIBER® replaces standard plastic, adding durability without affecting balance
- Handle: Dampens vibration for a more connected feel on every swing
