New media venture aims to connect pickleball players, lifestyle content, advertisers, and club experiences through a growing national network.

Pickleball continues to grow beyond the court, and Ace Pickleball Club is betting that players want more ways to stay connected to the sport.

Ace Pickleball Club Media has announced the launch of Beyond The Bounce, a digital magazine dedicated to pickleball and active lifestyles. The company also opened a Regulation Crowdfunding investment opportunity that allows eligible members of the public to invest in its media business.

Together, the announcements offer a glimpse at how pickleball companies are expanding into publishing, advertising, wellness, and community engagement.

Beyond the Scoreboard: A Magazine for the Pickleball Lifestyle

The inaugural issue of Beyond The Bounce explores pickleball through a broader lens than match results and playing techniques.

According to Ace Pickleball Club Media, its coverage includes:

  • Playing strategies and performance improvement.
  • Nutrition, wellness, and active living.
  • Equipment and emerging technology.
  • Travel experiences connected to pickleball.
  • Profiles of people and businesses influencing the sport.

For older adults and senior players, that mix could be particularly relevant. Pickleball often serves as more than a recreational activity: It creates opportunities for exercise, friendship, travel, and continued engagement with an active community.

A publication covering those connections may appeal to players interested in maintaining healthy routines while getting more enjoyment from the game.

Ace Pickleball Club Media founder and CEO Jay Diederich said the publication is intended to reach players beyond the company’s physical club locations.

“The growth of pickleball has created a massive audience that we believe deserves more than just what happens between the lines of the court,” Diederich said in the company’s announcement.

The company plans to expand the brand beyond its digital magazine into newsletters, podcasts, video, streaming, social media, and additional online content.

Three Businesses, One Pickleball Media Strategy

Ace Pickleball Club Media’s approach includes three connected business operations.

Beyond The Bounce focuses on editorial content, including its magazine, website, newsletters, podcasts, and digital video.

Courtside XP focuses on advertising and experiences in physical locations. Potential offerings include product sampling, sponsorships, special events, audio and display advertising, and other brand activations.

HI Digital Group provides marketing services designed to help brands develop audiences and increase their visibility.

The idea is to connect the content players consume online with their experiences at clubs, events, and other pickleball-related destinations.

For senior players, that could mean encountering everything from equipment demonstrations and wellness-focused promotions to sponsored activities and educational programming. However, the company has not announced a specific slate of senior-focused offerings.

Building on an Established Pickleball Community

Ace Pickleball Club Media says its platform is connected to the existing Ace Pickleball Club ecosystem, which the company describes as having:

  • More than 25,000 members.
  • Approximately 200,000 email subscribers.
  • Around 2.5 million annual website visits.
  • Approximately 1.5 million annual club visits.
  • Roughly 40,000 social media followers.

These figures come from company investor materials cited in its announcement and were not independently verified for this report.

By combining digital content with in-person participation, the company hopes to attract advertisers and partners interested in reaching pickleball’s growing audience.

Crowdfunding Campaign Offers Public Investment Access

Alongside the magazine launch, Ace Pickleball Club Media announced a Regulation Crowdfunding offering with a stated minimum investment of $500.

The opportunity involves an investment in the parent company behind Beyond The Bounce, Courtside XP, and HI Digital Group.

According to the announcement, proceeds are expected to support content development, video production, technology, audience growth, sales, events, advertising initiatives, agency expansion, and working capital.

Joe Sexton, co-founder and president of Ace Pickleball Club Media, said the campaign is intended to give players, club members, and supporters an opportunity to participate in the company’s expansion.

However, crowdfunding investments involve risk, and prospective investors should review the complete offering documents, eligibility requirements, fees, and risk disclosures available through the official investment portal.

What This Means for Senior Pickleball Players

The announcement reflects a larger shift in pickleball: The sport is becoming an increasingly visible part of the active-lifestyle marketplace.

For senior players, that growth can bring additional educational resources, equipment choices, travel opportunities, and community programming. At the same time, the rise of pickleball-focused media and advertising makes it helpful to distinguish independent editorial coverage from sponsored promotions and investment marketing.

Whether Beyond The Bounce finds an audience will ultimately depend on how useful, informative, and relevant its coverage becomes for everyday players.

For now, its arrival is another sign that the pickleball conversation is expanding well beyond the baseline.
